MONFRAGÜE NATIONAL PARK

The Monfragüe National Park was the first protected natural space in Extremadura. It represents one of the most extensive forest enclaves and Mediterranean scrublands, and provides an ideal habitat for birds.
You can also find an amazing variety of aquatic fauna in the Tajo river, which flows through the Park.
